• Ethnographic Reports

The Ethnographic Project is a cornerstone of PDC’s approach to community engagement. For every new coffee-growing community we work with, we carry out an ethnographic study that documents local traditions, social dynamics, and agricultural practices.

These reports provide a deep understanding of the cultural and economic realities of farmers, ensuring that every initiative we implement is rooted in context and designed to meet real needs. By listening to the voices of communities and recording their lived experiences, we build trust and shape projects that are both sustainable and respectful of local identity.

The ethnographic process helps bridge knowledge between farmers, institutions, and markets—laying the groundwork for meaningful change and stronger partnerships.
